Possibilities available to the dream manufacturer, RUF, suddenly make what seems impossible within one’s reach. In 2018, the car manufacturer Allgäuer renewed the idea of SCR: with a prototype in which designed know-how of the company is hidden. That includes a wider wheelbase, new materials of light construction, an intake engine of four litres with 510 HP and a manual gearbox with six speeds.

Maximum safety is guaranteed by integrated safety cage IRC made from a light steel construction of great strength, carbon-ceramic brakes and chassis made from carbon fibres.

Driving performance exceeds all expectations because 510 HPs has to do with only 1.250 kilograms; only at s speed of 320 km/h, driving resistance and engine power are in balance. One of those almost forgotten experiences is celebrated by the return of SCR.

Six-cylinder immediately reacts to the orders of the gas pedal and with its precise control and clearly defined point of pressure, the braking system constantly transmits a feeling of superior management of the power at disposal. Lightweight decreases the moment of inertia and makes RUF SCR an exceptionally agile two-seater. The goal was achieved: with SCR, a state-of-the-art sports car for experienced experts and sports drivers who can enjoy the symphony of Furioso intake engine was created.
